Ervin Clarence Lambert

	Ervin Clarence Lambert, age 81, of Pinckneyville, formerly of Pontiac, Ill., died Tuesday, February 6, 2001 at 4:18 p.m. in the Pinckneyville Community Hospital.
	 Ervin was born in Pinckneyville on February 26, 1919, a son of Adam E. and Margaret W. (Pabst) Lambert.  he was a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict, worked as a farm hand and was a member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, Pinckneyville.
	Survivors include three brothers:  Wilfred Lambert and his wife, Florence, of rural Coulterville, Kenneth Lambert and his wife, Marcella, of Pinckneyville and Clyde Lambert of Pinckneyville, five sisters:  Helen Flure and her husband, John, of Pinckneyville, Mildred Holtzman of Independence, Mo., Irene Patterson of Clearwater, Fla., Florence Bender of Crestwood, Mo., Inez Matson and her husband, Robert, of Fort Huron, Michigan and a sister-in-law:  Carol Lambert of Pinckneyville, along with numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother:  Harold Lambert.
	Funeral services were held on Friday, February 9 at 11 a.m. in the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home, Pinckneyville, with Reverend Jerry Ross officiating.  Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, DuQuoin.
	Friends called at the Pyatt-Harrawood Funeral Home on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m. and on Friday from 8 a.m. until services.
	Memorials may be made to the St. Paul U.C.C. Memorial Fund.
